Fiona has dedicated her life to the study and creation of art. She is a passionate scholar who has channeled her love of art history into her creations.

Fiona is a self-taught artist who focuses on the materiality of painting and exploring how people find emotional connection through art. She is a naturally curious person who finds inspiration in everything from Surrealism to haute couture to pigeons in the street.

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, she grew up admiring the fine collections of the MFA Boston and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Her adoration of John Singer Sargent’s works in these collections (beginning at the age of 6 when she first saw Mrs. Fiske Warren (Gretchen Osgood) and Her Daughter Rachel) prompted her to study art history in college.

She received her Bachelor’s in Art History from NYU, during which time she studied abroad in Florence, Italy, and fell head-over-heels for the Old Masters. She received her Master’s in Art History from Columbia University in 2023.

After nearly a decade in New York, Fiona sought a quieter environment and moved to the Hill Country of Texas, where she now lives with her husband.
